  • Loans and lines of creditL for facilities and working capital, all tailored to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations at competitive rates and terms.
  • New Markets Tax Credit Loans: tax credits for private investors in exchange for capital investment in facilities in low-income communities.
  • Nonprofit Business Analysis (NBA): an in-depth financial analysis and consultation that clarifies a nonprofit's financial condition, helping managers balance money with program goals and articulate financial needs to funders.
  • Financial Leadership Clinic: a two-day educational seminar on finance for 4-6 nonprofits working in a common sector, combining individual coaching and peer-based learning. Managers learn to read and interpret financial documents, understand the dynamics of their business models, and identify and communicate the specific financial needs and goals of their organizations.
  • Workshops and Coaching: a dynamic exploration, available to both nonprofits and funders, of how to better use money, so that missions can thrive. NFF provides expert guidance on how management decisions and capital structure affect an organization's mission and finances.
  • Capital Partners: helps nonprofits attract the shareholder-like investment they need to support significant transformations. Capital Partners brokers and facilitates capital campaigns of $5 million or greater, so that nonprofit executives can focus on the day-to-day running of their organizations.
  • Speaking Engagements: features insights from NFF President & CEO Clara Miller and other NFF staff members on the giving, getting and using of money in the nonprofit sector. With over 25 years experience in the field, NFF is a locally, nationally and internationally recognized thought leader on topics related to nonprofit finance and social enterprise.
  • Systems Replacement Plan (SRP): a detailed review of a nonprofit's building systems. NFF consultants create a 20-year SRP that forecasts expected timing and costs of replacements and repairs, helping organizations better plan for future facility-related capital needs.
  • Small planning grants of up to $10,000 to secure specific pieces of vital information during a project planning process. (Available by invitation only.)

Housing and Neighborhood Development Services (HANDS) helps revitalize communities by developing and selling property to first-time homeowners in and around Orange, New Jersey. NFF loans enabled HANDS to complete the renovation of its new facility with new windows, stairwells and bathrooms.

 



Camden Area Health Education Center (AHEC) aids a diverse community by providing services such as youth and adult HIV screening and prevention, women's empowerment workshops, the Camden Community Farmer's Market, asthma outreach initiatives, and healthcare programs for seniors. Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center in Millville, New Jersey is a leading resource of American crafts, focusing on educating audiences about New Jersey's strong glass-making tradition.
