A $250,000 NFF loan Helps Valley Opportunity Council Build Two New Classrooms for Day Care Center

Founded in 1980, Valley Opportunity Council (VOC) seeks to eliminate poverty by providing the opportunity for low and moderate income families to achieve greater independence and an improved quality of life. VOC offers a broad array of programming that includes day care, senior care, fuel, transportation and affordable housing.

The $250,000 NFF loan will be used specifically for the child care portion of VOC programming, and will finance construction of two new classrooms.

The loan was approved as part of CHEX (Child Care Expansion Consortium), an NFF resource for child-care providers seeking to undergo facility projects.
